just went outside in my socks to take some picture's. we have almost never had any ticks here. I came back in to post the pictures and felt something crawling up my leg.
now I have gone face to face with cobras in holes in the ground. had rattlesnake stick his fangs into my pant leg.
have had close encounters with angry bears, wolves, dogs and women. been shot by a gangbanger.
but nothing gives me the heebie jeebies like a tick.
wife finally got me calmed down with a paper bag over my head. SHE thinks its hilarious ! don't she know them damn things are deadlier then the kung fu flu?
I killed that sombish with my K-Bar. might have it mounted and put up next to the rattler.
still have the jumps, feeling them crawling on me when they aren't .
did I mention I hate ticks?

Same here,we never used to have 'em here, past few years they have been terrible .
So far this year we have taken about a dozen off Bentley.
Thankfully none off of me,but turkey season starts soon, and I haven't been out in the woods much.

I was wondering if anybody else has noticed. Our animals have been bringing them in lately. It looks like it's going to be a banner year for ticks.

Flicked one off my leg a few weeks back. Already pulled three off the dog. Those bastards can die a fiery death.

We keep a cigarette lighter on the coffee table and burn the bastards, so far it looks to be a banner year for them here. The one thing I hate worse than ticks are chiggers.

I like spiders. will take them outside so the wife wont smash them. Spiders are good people. they do good by eating other bugs. ticks have NO redeeming qualities.

Noah should never have let them aboard the Ark. Along with a few other things.

Guinea fowl like to eat ticks.

I'd get a flock of them if I could figure out how to keep them on the property without spending a fortune on fencing.

Buckeye chickens will eat the hell out of ticks and won't run off.
