A couple of decades or more years ago a town close to me (Kenai for those that do not know) put into their park strip a monolithic monument that included (a little later) a part close to it depicting a soldier down on one knee with helmet held low, bowing to a grave marked with a cross, similar to those seen at the American Cemetery in France. Fast forward a couple of years, a pair of left-leaning citizens decided that the town was breaking the law as relates to the separation of Church and State. They took their claim to the local council and these folk (deciding not to make waves) thought to have the cross grave marker removed.

Note now that the geographic size of this town is as large as many cities showing a population of more than 100,000 people, though in reality it holds about 5,000. When about 80 to 100 people showed up with AR 15's, the town fathers decided to drop it. The monument stands today as the day it was commissioned. As far as I know, this never made the national news. Of course, even at that time I knew the media was bovine scat and paid little to main-stream and might have missed it. The points of this are simple:

1. It works.
2. This is going to happen more frequently, and also sooner than later.
3. It is a terrible shame that the left (and other bad actors) seem to desire it, or are too stupid to understand it.
4. I am the last one that wants to see an escalation of this sort start to happen.
5. It will likely start prior to November's election...
6. If it does, I will be one standing with the patriots, exercising all of our constitutional rights, make no mistake...
