I don't keep track of numbers. The biggest number taken would be Whitetails.

Longest kill 700 yards on my Spring Black Bear last year.

I stopped counting many years ago. There are well over 100 whitetail racks in my garage and 5 mounts in the house. "Someday" I'm going to make something out of all of those.

This is just for fun....

No idea on the total number. I started in the early 70s. My longest shot with a rifle was about 425, about 140 with a S&W Model 29-2 back when I was reading too much Elmer Keith. In the last 20 years my average shot on big game has been something like 30 yards. Three or four of those were 80-120 yards, everything else was pretty close.

I’ve not kept score but probably 13 elk and a handful of deer since I retired from the service in 1998. I hunted only sporadically in the prior 28 years. Longest shot was a DRT on a bull at 308 measured yards with a .35 Whelen. Only one unsuccessful shot which was closer than that in 2005. I can recall misses since the number is small. Happy Trails

I am 69.
I first killed a robin with a 22 cal CO2 pellet gun when I was 12 years old and cooked over an open fire.
Since then I have killed and eaten a lot of quail, pheasants, ducks, rabbits, deer, and antelope.
I have killed thousands of rodents; ground squirrels and prairie dogs.
I have shot crows, rats, and dozens of raccoons.
I shot a coyote once, that had one of my hens in it's mouth.

My biggest trophies
age 3 trout
age 11 salmon
age 62 deer
age 67 antelope

Right around 110- 115. About 75 caribou, 21 or 22 moose, a few black bear & sheep, 1 goat, 1 elk, 1 wolf, 1 mule deer, one whitetail.

Longest shot was probably a bit over 500 yards. 25-06 with 120 gr handloads, zeroed 5 1/2 inches high at 100. First shot kicked up snow downhill from her belly. Caribou cow. Second shot holding just over her head-up erect ears put it through both shoulder blades.

Longest lazered shot is 433 yards.

I am 70 1/2, started hunting small game at 13, with a JC Higgens SS .22. Got my first cottentail on Christmas afternoon...... smile

La. and Ms. both have 6 deer per season limits and although I've never killed 12 deer in a season, I've come close. Not because I couldn't, but I didn't need anymore for family and friends. Started hunting in '62 and killed my first squirrel with a .410 breakneck. Been hunting 58 years. Somewhere around 300 deer, no telling at the squirrels and ducks, and throw in quite a few rabbits and pigs. Lots of game animals I've never hunted.

Deer only. Closer to 200 than 100. First one before I was 10. Furthest one was a lasered 263 yards, but a coupe times I came pretty close to killing one a lot further out. Longest shot on anything was just over a quarter mile and it is the only shot I ever tried at that kind of range on an animal. A woodchuck which I ate.

Every deer except for one I gave to another hunter was butchered by me although the first few I had help and instruction from both parents and a couple with my grandparents.

In Australia;

Lots of kangaroos & feral pigs, foxes, thousands of rabbits.

15 years in Canada;

30 +/- Whitetail deer
3 Moose

Wife & Son, another 15 Whitetails.

Longest shot in either country, probably 250 metres.

I am 26 now started when I was around 9 years old hunting with my hero (papa). Since then I have killed/caught hundreds of pigs / coyotes, probably around 40 - 50 whitetails including cull doe from wheat fields. Lots of duck, geese, sandhill crane (Ribeye of the Sky), pheasant, quail, squirrel, rabbit, musk rat... Varmits... Longest shot was on an armadillo at 625 yards smile... Second was on a big whitetail buck at 565 yards.

Depends on what is considered big game. When I lived in AZ, Javelina were included in in the big game regulations and required a draw, I understand they are considered vermin in TX. How about Africa? Not by African standards, but American, do any of the tiny ten qualify?

My first big game season was age 15, I've missed some due to various reasons, but I think I've hunted 38 total. Around 75 critters that I consider qualify (springbok and larger), longest shot on any of them was a bit under 400 yards. Longest successful shots on anything were two prairie dogs, lasered 752 yards.
