Forget the braided steel fishing leader. I found this stuff on a youtube video and the guy wasn't kidding. This stuff is unbelievable. https://www.ebay.com/itm/ROTARY-PART-10068-VORTEX-TRIMMER-LINE-SMALL-SPOOL-095-x-230-BLACK/283229616451?epid=8012510663&hash=item41f1ccf943:g:5dwAAOSwzqtcD9f0 It is hard to find. Lowes doesn't sell it. Because if you bought a spool of this stuff at Lowes, you wouldn't be back for about 10 years. It is at least three times better than the orange stuff they sell at Lowes. I call it Copperhead, but you have to look it up under Rotary Vortex Professional .095 70.1m. That is, more than 70 meters of string. Gonna last a long time. Hard to find on Amazon I could only find a huge spool that cost $47. I don't need that much line. I don't know why that link won't come up but it is on ebay for $17.50

Rotary is a big distributor of small engine parts and shop supplies. If you just search “rotary vortex” several diameters and lengths are for sale on Amazon.

Yep. It’s the best I have found so far. The string lays flat.

I got to it via Google...... It popped up on Amazon.com but I only saw the .095 stuff. My DeWalt trimmer calls for .080 stuff and I never tried anything else. Might be worthwhile if my trimmer will handle it.

I’ve got a roll, and it is indeed badass. It lasts longer, plus, the shape seems to make it either cut better, or “fly flatter” so that it cuts better.

I hadn't really thought about that, but y'all are right. This stuff "flies flatter" or something. Somehow it makes a better, flatter cut. It makes a smoother cut.

$11 bucks???? Who has that kind of money??
Then STFU. The rest of your statement is superflous bullshit with no real bearing on this discussion other than to massage your own ego. Suckin' on my titties like you wanted me.
