Awesome but try ducks next time. There is money in decoys. Used to do ducks. I actually do a bunch of stuff. The bottom fell out of the decorative decoy business a while back. Last duck I did took 6 months, and I got 1700 for it. About half of what it once was. Antique decoys are still good though. My son does real nice primitive ones. Never got into those. I WOULD like to do a Greenwing Teal hen at some point. Really cute little duck. I enjoy fish, as well. Did a real nice Brookie a while ago.

Also did a Blue Pike watercolor. They're extinct, so I get to just do it close....my family caught a bunch of these.

That is beautiful work. I have to ask, what is the kingfisher standing on?

A water lotus seed pod. Brookie i did for my son... That is absolutely beautiful! He was a nice fish. About 10" long. Used some 10mm flex eyes in it. They are plastic, with a photographic image of a fish eye. Pretty nice. Heck, you should get a piece of basswood or tupelo and give it a shot. Ya never know. Another cool thing (given your handle) would be some watercolor dry flies. Get a decent brush, some watercolor paper, and try it. Pretty cheap to play with. Seen carved flies, too. Neat.
