Was up in McKinney, TX last weekend visiting my son. Bucees, Petro, and Love's were 1.29 UL gas, 1.79 clear diesel.

Gas or Diesel...

Lowest I've seen fuel was $1.79 a gallon up at Canyonville, where the Indians up there own a casino and truck stop...

they're back up to $2.20 a gallon now..

Lotta place are up to $3.49 a gallon or more for 87 Octane, plus are charging another 16 cents a gallon to use a debit or credit card....

Truck stops like Loves, Flying J, Pilot.. there prices are low for 87 Octane, in the $2.15 to $2.20 range.. then charge 30 to 40 cents more a gallon for 89 Oct, and then ANOTHER 30 to 40 cents more for 92 Octane...

out here, some one between the refinery and the pump, are raking it in big time over this.. there is little competition, which in my book oil outfits are just getting together and price fixing, which should be illegal.. but DemocRATS don't care... they are getting paid off under the table....

Hell, the Oregon Fuel system is pulling this so much, that gas and diesel is cheaper in Northern CA than it is in Southern Oregon...even with their higher fuel taxes..

of course our liberal democRATS want to price fuel so high, that everyone buys electric cars, your fuel and insurance is charged by the mile, and they want public transportation, that is so bad, that they loose $1850.00 per passenger per month....up in Potlandia

You're definitely getting hosed at those prices. Maybe your State tax, local taxes, etc aren't helping any? Not sure if there's a refinery anywhere near, but if it's a union shop they're screwing you over too.

I paid 1.99/gal at Costco the other day up in the big city for diesel. Lowest price in a decade.
Locally 2.75, where it is pumped out of the ground and refined.

Fuel prices here have been FUBAR for a long time.
