He had an old G.I. issue field pack he'd cut holes in the bottom of for my little legs to stick out. He'd load me in that pack. sling me on his back and off we'd go. Folded up nicely to fit in the trunk of a '57 Plymouth two door. It would be an antique now and probably worth something.
