Absolutely!

I used to live near Woodstock NY where The Band and Bob Dylan hung out. I was able to see Levon and The Band play
a couple of small charity gigs. I did get to meet Levon after he and John Sebastian (Lovin' Spoonful) did a small fund
raiser right on a corner in Woodstock.
He was a great guy and invited me to his home to see his "Midnight Ramble". Unfortunately I could not go.
Levon stuck to his roots as a country boy from "Turkey Scratch" Arkansas. He was very proud of his
Southern heritage which is reflected in much of the Band's music.

While talking to Levon, Michael Lang one of the promoters of the original (1969) "Woodstock" comes up to me,
says Hello! and introduces himself. Never knew who you might meet in Woodstock back in the day.
