After reading the other post about Grant it brings to mind one of my favorite songs and singers. Way before my time, I'm not even 40 but I have always loved Johny Horton, and this song always gives me chills

One of my favourite albums is "Johnny Horton's Greatest hits", knicked my uncles copy when I was twelve years old.
Irving, Put a tear in my eye, thank you. Ole Miss had the greatest fight song ever (Dixie), and threw it away. They still ain’t won nothing, hadn’t even been to Atlanta. Serves them right. Hell they even did away with their team name (Rebels) and they are now Amphibians! Part Bear and part Shark, how about that Sh&#!
I duck hunt every year on my wife’s step-grandpas dads place down in Texas about a mile from where Johnny Horton died in a car wreck. That’s my biggest claim to fame. I just turned 40, but when I was in high school me and a buddy about wore out a cassette tape of Johnny Horton’s as we cruised Main Street.

Sounds like me, sink the Bismarck and North to Alaska were two more of my favorites on that tape
