I inherited this gun from the estate of my late son, I have not fired it. I know the history of the gun and know for a fact it has not been fired in the last 45 years and doubt it was ever fired more than a box of ammo, probably less. Serial number is 69xxx which indicates 1963-1964 manufacture.

The metal on this gun is easily 97%, the only mar is a thinning area on the heel of the buttplate from where it sat in the closet or safe all these years. There are no other defects in the metal at all that I can find. The bore is bright and shiney.

The stock has some small little pressed marks and bumped areas . No gouges, scrapes, cuts, cracks or other problems. I believe these marks are from storage only. Rifle was never hunted with. There has been a set of sling swivels installed.

This rifle qualifies for shipment directly to your C&R license. Otherwise, shipping will be from a private individual to an FFL of your choice. I ship USPS Priority Mail with insurance which I provide for you. YOU are responsible to make sure all of your state and local laws are obeyed.

Remove the ?1 or 1 after the ".jpg". the img tags only work for files ending in .jpg or .png or some other valid image extension. The ?1 makes the img tag think they are not pictures. Also, you are limited to six pictures in any one post.

These are fine deer whacking machines. Hornady XTP is the preferred medicine. I don't understand why Ruger doesn't re-issue this gun, they would sell a boatload.
