You can get almost all the sass out of 'em if it's an old manual reel mower.

Lots of nice clover in that back lawn there renegade, good job. Nitrogen fixer, makes the grass and other weeds grow better. No need for sulfate of ammonia and all them other costly chemicals. I can tell by how green it is, it's working really good.

Now, maybe get you some of them Dandylions with their big ol tap roots to help break up and aerate the soil. The seeds bring in American goldfinches too. Good American bird. Patriotic and all that.

This time of year we mow our lawn every 5 days. We like to keep it looking good. We both enjoy mowing the lawn and take turns doing it. Course we have a lawn tractor so it's not like it's work.

We have a couple, both medical doctors, living at the end of block, who will not mow their lawn until the city shows up. Then they hire some kid to mow only the front yard while weeds show up over the top of their privacy fence in the back yard. They aren't really a popular couple.

Lawnmower?? Hell put some sheep or goats on it. Eat those fuggers in the fall and get some new ones next spring.

That is generally my thought about any patch of grass I can't mow in one shot with my battery mower. I've got some 40' firebreak areas that get the weedeater treatment, and I've thought about a goat or two for them.

I have a suspicion renegade's dogs might have "fun" with a sheep though.

That's right! I need to go by Ag store and get another jug. Hope the ambulance chasing lawyers don't screw up my weed eater in a jug.

Just spend a grand or so out of your stimulus check and get her a rider. Mine can get kind of snarky if she figures that life isn't being fair and things go way better around here for me if she gets some good stuff. Not that I'm going to let her on my John Deere lawn tractor you understand because she still thinks that it is work for me mowing the lawn.
