i have in the collection a 70's vintage fj40 cruiser.
my parts guy at one time installed a vette engine in a cruiser and let me drive it.
totally useless off road, but floor it at a stoplilght was like a horse wanting to rare.
i did see some jeeps a few years ago a company was making with the hemi engine in them
lust there too except for the price tag.
this jeep might have been built right across the street from my house in prescott.
they do a lot of high end fabrication on jeeps there.
difficult to sit on the front porch and drool all the time.

A guy around here was swapping Dodge 5.7 hemi engines into Jeeps. They had too much power to be used for a lot of tasks, but he said they had a hell of a good time on the river and in the sand with them.

i have a 10/72 fj40 in the pod. often thought about a v8 conversion.
but it runs good off road the way it is, don't need the v8
