Good on him, but the only reason he got away with it was because he’s black.
If he was a white cop, he’d be unemployed right now. How do you know that? In today’s climate I don’t think it’s far from true; I’d consider it newsworthy if a white officer in that scenario didn’t suffer some consequences from his higher ups for not kneeling.
