I have a lifetime supply of them, run them at around 3000 out of my 243 and they have all been one shot kills on blacktails here in alaska. Other than some 62gr varmint grenades for pests they are the only bullet I use in my 243 anymore. Wish the coated ones would come back up on SPS, I think I am down to my last box of those but I have nearly 1000 of the regular variety waiting.

I've ran them in the 300 fps range out of a 6mm Rem, on a Rem long action.. seated out like the Creedmoor does...
with a 1 in 7 twist no less... didn't phase the bullet, make it come apart etc...

I'd bet Nosler sells more 95 grain Ballistic Tips, over any and all other 6mm Partitions combined...

it just plain works... and around here, its considered a good Elk bullet by many....

I've shot more than a few antelope with the 100 gr Horn SP,100 GR Npt, 95 gr Npt,100 gr RP Corelokts and 105 Speers. Just a couple with th 95 Nbt with no complaints they flat work. Gale Root designed the 95 Nbt and the 120 Nbt 7mm that is why they work. Looking forward to some new load work up too. MB

Don't recall any bullet being discussed on the 'fire that has had 100% positive comments. Even Partitions have had their detractors. This is impressive....

They've been hell on deer for our group. All the way from reduced loads starting at 2400 up to 3200 they have all worked the same.

I'd use them if I hunted open country. Back in the early 90's, I switched from the 95gr Partition to the new 95gr Ballistic Tip for a couple of years. Accuracy went up, bang-flops went up, but I also started catching bullets on quartering shots, which lead to some tough tracking jobs. The Partition was the better bullet in those cases, as they always exited and let me something to track by. If I was a dedicated 6mm/257 caliber fan on big game, I'd go Partition first, then mono-bullets, then cup/cores or bonded cores, based on my experiences.

Throw this term into a search engine and the positive numbers from many years will further impress. Well, that's what I saw when searching for a simple, readily available, reliable, accurate, works with all twists, 6mm hunting bullet. smile

Not much anecdotal evidence to share, but I run them in my 240 Weatherby at 3450 fps and they're accurate as he!!. Have only killed a medium body Axis with them so far, but it was a bang flop at 211 yards. Punched through onside shoulder and appeared break offside shoulder as well. Wasn't able to recover the bullet. I'm sticking with them.

6mmBR 95 gr Nos Bal Tip, 29 gr IMR-4166, 1.2" Lapua brass, 2800 fps muzzle, I had sighted in out to 500 yards, but got the shot two antelope opening morning at 158 yards and 225 yards. Both were bang flop.

My pops shoot a moose with a 6mm Remington and 100gr CoreLokt. Moose died.

There's no need for that. He's just upset that SWFA is out of FFs right now.

I do like them but I do recover them on big bucks even at 275yds and only 2,875fps mv. Much as I love them I think for really big deer a partition or interbond is better. For normal deer they can't be beat.
