Bought these three from a widow, through a buddy. I have Kimber and Ruger 1911s, but holy crap these are on another level. I cant wait to shoot them! 6" Bruin 10mm Silverback 10mm Classic Bobtail 45. [Linked Image]

Nice score!
There really is no comparison to the others you mentioned. I’ve had 1911’s by Dan Wesson, Kimber, Springfield Armory, Remington, and Les Baer.
I personally wouldn’t give one dime more for a Les Baer than for a Dan Wesson, and none of the others even belong in the same discussion.
Let me know if you decide to sell/trade any of them.

Of course they're on another level. They're completely hand built, every part hand fitted, much the same as a Les Baer.

I have a Silverback and several V-Bob Valors. Really great handguns reasonably priced for the quality they are.

I have 4 Dan Wesson 1911s and love them. Between all of the the Colts, Springfields, and Dan Wessons that I’ve owned, there’s no comparison. Like jstamper said “none of the others even belong in the same discussion”

As much as I’d like a Wilson Combat, and I may end up with one eventually.....truth is. For my needs in a handgun DW checks all the boxes.

I love DWs and have had a bunch of them and they have all been excellent especially the 10mms. I would not call them hand fitted though. Nice score, especially the Bruin

My DW's are all revolvers Today's Dan Wesson revolvers are very much hand built one at a time too. I personally know the guys who build them and how they are built very well..

I have a few DW revolvers, but no autos. Revolvers are stout for sure.
