I love coffee. I used to drink 4 big cups a day.
I came down with adrenal problems and now can't drink coffee. It makes me sick.

Same here. Later in life I switched from OJ to a Dr. Pepper in the AM. Switched to Coke Zero because my pants started shrinking (Dr. Pepper 10 sucks) during the week and a real Dr. Pepper on weekends.

I was battling very regular bouts of vertigo a couple years ago and my Dr. had me cut a bunch of things out of my diet as well as a few other changes. Caffeine was one of those things and I haven’t had a vertigo episode since. I could drink decaf I guess but I don’t miss coffee all that much. I have moved to a variety of teas and actually enjoy them more than I recall liking coffee.

That’s my other reason too, acid reflux.

Strong caffeine just tears me up.

I’ve never been a coffee drinker and don’t like hot drinks. I drink 3-4 Diet Cokes a day however.

Love a few cups of freshly perked coffee with a splash of Half & Half every morning.

Seems like one of them.

I do not drink coffee.
I haven't for about 7 years.
It's not because I don't like it, because I very much do. (I hate black coffee though).

The reason I cannot drink it is because it irritates my bladder and swells my prostate and bladder neck which causes much urinary retention.
I believe that it is not just the caffeine in the coffee, but it likely has other irritants in it as well.
I have had a surgical procedure last week that I hope will alleviate my problems. \
I am also hoping this will allow me to drink coffee again.

I have been able to manage for this past 7 years by limiting my caffeine intake to 1 Dr. Pepper per day and only drinking coffee therapeutically (to wake me up) when absolutely necessary.

Used to enjoy the smell of a percolator in the morning, as long as someone else is drinking the nasty crap.

Mom used to buy coffee nips candy.......YUK! Can't stand the flavor of Kalua. Can not abide the flavor of coffee, no matter how diluted.

Beer is another matter. I am very sensitive to bitterness. I understand that is a genetic thing and some are nearly immune to bitter. Every once in a rare while I will hold my nose and quaff a beer, but I have not actually enjoyed a beer since 1980 when I layed hands on a pitcher of Lowenbrau Dark along with a giant combination pizza loaded with veggies.

I generally drink one or two cups of very strong, black, coffee, every day. Have been since I was about ten years old. Later in the day, I'll drink tea instead. GD

Can't stand the stuff. Once, 30 years ago, on a cold rainy night and desperate for something with which to warm up, I tried some. Loaded with cream and sugar, it was completely non-potable and the most vile thing I have ever tasted. Have never hadthe urge to try it again. Even the "aroma" is repulsive.

But I do enjoy tea!
