As appealing as it sounds to just mow down armed liberals that are destroying our country, whose side does everyone think the military will be on?



That's a pretty serious consideration.

Once things escalate to that point, the military WILL get involved. And they have some weapons that'll make you wish you'd stayed at home.

Guess a lot depends on who the Commander in Chief is.

Correct Barry, a bunch of right wing Rambo's shooting AR's. or is it AK's will only get shot themselves.

You have a 80 to 85% white combat arms army.
And a 50 50 minority, female, and white/ combo combat support army.

Talking to 2 female officers and one SF company commander son in law in the army in my family.

The mindset from yapping with them and asking about things discussed between them and their peers.

The mindset of the miltary as a whole is vastly on our side.

Way different fighting overseas than being told to against countrymen.

They know the difference between urban rat america and the politicians who pandering to that, and the rest of us who are americans in this country.

And many who are in uniform also.

I do think there will be some armed conflicts.

I think the Left is pushing that to the flash point as fast as they can.


But when it happens, WE will be made out to be the bad guys.

Speaking of which, I got a not morbidly obese but typically American overweight buddy lives in a nice neighborhood in a Liberal city, not too far from the protests, often sits out on his front porch in the evening, unarmed, has an AR-15 clone fifteen feet away inside his front door.

Unless you’re around em regular you can lose touch with how blindingly fast young men can be. I told him a twenty-something assailant could be up his 60ft driveway and on him while he was still getting up out of his chair.

Then all that assailant would have to do is push him over. Here’s an exercise; go out on your lawn and lay down, then see how fast you can get back on your feet with nothing to grab onto for help. Most of us would find that a chore, heck, I find it to be a chore every friggin morning and I sleep on the floor. Young people can jump back up in no time.

Might be a good idea to work in some drills around drawing and shooting from the ground.

For fitness I’m done with distance running tho I did it a lot in my youth, when school gets back in I’m gonna work on being able to hustle reasonably fast over 400m, just one loop of the track. That ability should be useful in a number of different scenarios. I got a bicycle if I want to exercise for hours.

Keeping up with young people is one thing, I hike for four hours with school buses full of teenagers every year. Speed, aerobic capacity, agility and reaction times are different things entirely.

10 to 20, 3 minute rounds on the heavy bag with 1 minute between rounds on the elliptical 3 mornings a week. Weights on the other 3 days.

If it's a Civil War and I've got to use any of the physical training in hand to hand I've already screwed up with my tactics......

As someone suggested, Israel has had pretty good success with shadow figures firing silenced .22lr into the guts of multiple violent marauders.

Like shooting blackbirds with my silenced airgun. It works great until they catch on, and when they do, the get the hell outta Dodge.

There are a whole bunch of nasty and effective things you can do to an enemy besides shooting at them. Use your head. The world is your oyster. Shuck it!! Fun for the whole family.
