Europe has nothing we need to survive! The only money known everywhere in the world is the U.S. dollar! Show a Euro, and a U.S. dollar, to a merchant in Cairo, see which one he takes! Big deal. We banned them when they were the ones with the big problem. And it made some sense.
So, how they have a bit better handle on it than us, and it's probably Tit-for-tat, along with a sensible move.
I for one, don't think of Italy any different because of the virus. I do believe not letting a bunch of them run around here, when their country was covered In the bug, was smart.
People need to thicken the skin and engage the grey matter (brains).
