Reading this thread, and the linked 2018 one on the Alaska forum has been one of the few times I’ve regretted not having a TV.
Sounds like the Hailstones are solid folk, and prove the lie that all any group of people are is down and out and worthless.
I don’t really care how people kill stuff as long as it’s quick and humane, whether off of automated feeders behind tall fences in Texas or sitting ducks with a .22 in Alaska. As long as the take doesn’t threaten the ongoing population.

Another one just made the list !
Jwall, you're not considering the 8th Amendment. I think Duck can explain how that forced the legal system to let the "criminal" go.
Eliminate qualified immunity and you'll eliminate cops who act like they are above the law.

Another thing I found kind of funny about watching LBZ and listening to people discuss it, is that nobody GAF about the dude with the fish wheels he uses to feed dogs.
But GD, leave those ducks and seals alone.

This is a long podcast but it’s really good. This guy was one of the more interesting people they filmed for a few seasons:
Yes! Thank you Flave.... that was a great podcast. I don't watch much of LBZ since they took Glenn off. However I like Chip and the ladies, they are the real deal.
In order to heap more scorn on Duck, I first have to understand the meaning of "sluicing".
I do quite a bit of duck hunting, mostly in the rice fields of California. Every duck I've ever killed has ended up in water (either winged or dead) and if they aren't dead in the water or close by, I'll pop em in the water and then go wade out to retrieve it (I don't hunt with dogs or kids, so it's all on me). Am I a duck sluicer?

The most ridiculous scene I remember from that show was the gal shooting the old military rifle to see where it hit, then going out hunting with it and having to compensate for it shooting a foot off. Sighting it in never occured to them I guess.
I think you need to cut some slack because of filming and editing B.S. for one thing, and the other is I can't think of a better choice for a rifle bouncing around in a snow machine in schidt weather conditions. I seriously doubt anyone as serious about meat hunting as they are actually did that. She probably shot the rifle for a film sequence, pulled the shot, and the dumbshit producer said, good, put it in the can. Agnes (or Chip) has chosen a model 39 Finnish Moisin Nagant. Arguably one of the most accurate reliable cold weather rifles ever produced. My less than good condition example is capable of sub 2 moa with issue sights, hovering around 1 moa with detachable scope...with about any factory fodder. Wolf Gold, PPU, Russian ball slightly more. I could go on, but you get the point. If they bought that Finn at fair market value, they probably paid somewhere around 600 bucks for it. You could walk into any big box store in Anchorage and come out with a scoped all weather plastic boomer for that...and they didn't. They chose the Finn, as would I. Blame it on the film industry.
Well this is a fine pickle we're in, should'a listened to Joe McCarthy and George Orwell I guess.

Sluicing or Arkansasan them is when they are not wounded but either they swim buy you and you “sluice” them or just shooting good ol healthy ducks off the water.. few yrs ago paddler was giving shrap grief for shooting grouse on the ground and he took it up a notch ol paddler did and pretty much said grouse needed to be hunted with SxS. Shrap took it up a notch posted pictures of him shooting grouse with his pistols etc.
