My wife uses an electric. I've instructed my children to have me put down if I ever get caught using it. That and pickle ball. My nice Stihl professional series was stolen by a junkie, but I have a Husqvarna that does the job pretty much as well now for half the price.

I have several Milwaukee M18 tools and wanted to get a couple 12ah batteries. Home Depot had the chainsaw , two 12ah batteries and a charger for $400. At that time it was like getting the saw and charger for free. I've cut a few good sized ash trees but it's better used for trimming and smaller trees. Two 12ah batteries cuts about enough for a small pickup load. Wish I'd seen that. How long ago?
