If you want a mind blower, listen to any interview with Kelly Macdonald, the young lady who plays Llewelyn Moss's wife in NCFOM. She is Scottish and has a very thick accent but nails the West Texas twang in the movie. What a contrast.

I do not have much suspended disbelief. I fell asleep at the theater watching the Exorcist.
But I got scared watching; 1) Deliverance 2) the Shining
They were about being attacked by some nut ...THAT was plausible.

Same for Night of the Living Dead.

Same for Night of the Living Dead. I try to sneak that last one in every once in awhile for my wife if I have control. She must know the opening really well, as she catches me every time. She hates zombies, scientifically trained as she is, knowing that they aren't real, she just hates zombie flicks.

Go to a Walmart anyplace in the south or midwest the day they put money on the EBT's and tell me zombies ain't real.

Dawn of the Dead is probably my favorite zombie movie. As far as old school zombie movies...it's pretty hard to beat. The Last Man on Earth is awesome also.
