I'm with Sarge, I've never taken a liking to the birds head grips. I do like the idea of the sights, for quick close up shooting but not so much for distance shooting. I've got a flat top 45 Colt convertible in 4-5/8", and a full size Vaquero in the full size in 45 Colt. If I'm going to carry a gun like that, I'll stick with my Vaquero. I also like my full size blackhawk 45 Colt in Stainless, for heavy loads but in truth the flat top will handle anything I'm likely to run into in this part of Idaho. The guns I have pretty much already fit all my needs.
