About filling out a GD check ?
or

reading the sign on my door ??

Going through my semi annual rant about the available hillfugingbilly work force available here.

Only one in ten years can fill out a check and maybe 3 can read.

Looking for yard help.

Simple: Make long grass into SHORT GRASS.

Gotta lead 'em aroung like children and hope for the best

Been doing this for ten years

Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I suggest a move to CA.

We have millions of folks capable of mowing lawns, not only capable but actually self employed and they do a decent job. The ones we've dealt with arrive on time, do a great job, and don't charge exorbitant fees.

Why not just slip three tooth Jim a $20 or two after he runs his Murray over your grass. No paperwork and shortened grass

I used to do a lot of work for an old cat daddy that had about 60 rental houses

He’d hand me his checkbook and tell me to fill everything out and put a reasonable number in the amount box. Lol

Hand it back and he’s put an x and some inky jibberish on there for a signature. And tear it off.

LOL

miss that old guy. Wore a big straw hat and drove a Lincoln to each house to collect his rents. I was always afraid he was going to get knocked in the head. All his properties were straight up ghetto.

Dad had a friend, grew up mountain poor. Had a decent job, but figured out how to start buying rentals. Had 150 when he died. Never learned to read or write, so his accountant took care of everything. He'd always claim he forgot his glasses and needed to take paperwork home to go over, then take it to the accountant.

Really weird.....when he died, according to his will, accountant was left everything he owned!
