Lol just shot one in the back yard. Bout a 50yd shot with the trusty old Marlin 782 22 mag. First one ive seen or shot in the "yard" here since the one I killed last July.

Ground hogs USED to be plentiful around here 30 years ago. Then the coyotes moved in. Not so many any more. Planted my first ever garden 03 June. Shot my first ever ground hog ~03 July...
