Our annual Canada fishing trip is canceled; so we’re headed to Black Lake in New York. Any of you guys have advice or areas to catch bass in early September?
Thanks

Black Lake is worth the trip. Don't be afraid to use top water lures such as poppers and jitterbugs no matter what time of day. Some of the best Largemouth and Smallmouth fishing I've ever experienced was during the heat of the day in July and August in years past. As for locations on the lake I can't really help. The times I've fished there I was a guest on boats run by locals. It's a special lake.

Very popular spot in in NYS. Check out the NYSDEC website for some general information. Like any body of water, suitable structure for what you are fishing for is key. Enjoy your trip to Northern NYS.
