What Calibers do you wish Henry would chamber in the Long Ranger? I was hoping for the 7mm-08 Remington After waiting it out I settled for 6.5 Creedmoor, which may be for the better, we'll see. Rock On!

All good calibers
Like the .338 federal, unless somehow you could stuff a .338 RCM in it
Not sure how I got the red emoji in the title.

Love the 7mm08. Ask Mr. Imperato. It looks like they will be making a lightweight 357 with a 20” bbl and side loading gate after many asked.

A .338 Federal would be nice. That said, the Long Ranger configuration in a .308 is hard to beat. A .257 Roberts would be a sweet shooter as well.

As much as I like the 358 Win, I'd really like to see one with a pistol grip chambered in 300 Savage. I guess I'm getting too old.

Someone needs to make a lever in .30 carbine (Marlin Levermatic 62s in .30 carbine are too scarce/expensive)!

Will that HBBS (also available in the Henry Big Boy Classic & Big Boy Carbine) fire the same .30 carbine round as my Universal "M1 Carbine" and my Ruger Blackhawk? No, it won't. And that's what I want - a lever-action partner for those two! My HBBS Carbine is for working with my S&W 30-1 (.32 S&W Long), Ruger Single-Six (.32 H&R Magnum), and S&W 632 (.327 Fed Magnum).

Were they to produce a clone of the original Henry chambered for the .44 Henry RF and get some ammo circulating I’d buy one and a big load of ammo. Otherwise I have all the leverguns I want.
I am..........disturbed.

They're halfway there DD. You'd have to settle for a .44WCF though.

Doesn't matter what caliber they offer if the twist rate in the barrel is too slow to stabilize a high bc bullet.
That's the Achilles Heel of all these half fast manufacturers of useless rifles.

X2. A Henry with a 20" barrel, a 7 lb. trigger and accuracy (according to several reviews I read) that averages 2-2.5" at 100 yds. is real conducive to long range shooting. LOL

Well...they call it the long ranger, chamber it in long range capable cartridges, and market it for ‘longer distances’. It’s too ugly for my tastes, so I guess I’ll never find out how accurate one really is.

Isn't it more or less a old style BLR ? I've had old BLR's in 243 and 308 that would shoot 200-250 no problem ( that's about as far as I take a shot at a wt deer) Don't they offer a 243 or a 308 ?

Nothing against a 7-08 Rem, but what can it kill at 300-400 yards that a 308 Win lever gun won’t. Answer is nothing. In fact the 308 Win based lever gun has a larger window of use with 1-10 twist barrel shooting 120-200 grain loads. Of which ammo is everywhere. You’ll never see a 1-8 twist barrel on a 7-08 magazine fed factory made lever gun. A 308 Win with 178 eld-x is a great performer near and far on big game. It’s been done thousands of times on every continent.

200-250 yards instead of 100-125. Deer at 200 yards is cake with an accurate .30-30 or .35. Done it at that and farther several times.

Not sure how this ended up being "My way is better than your way"!
Was hoping to hear what others want as well as putting out some energy for a 7mm-08.
Like the idea of a 257 bob and 250Savage, 358 338fed too.
Sold the Henry 6.5 without shooting it because it wasn't a 7mm-08.
BLR's are nice, but after watching 150 of my co-workers loose their jobs I just can't see owning anything not built in the US and sold my 7mm-08 BLR (my opinion for myself only)
Picked up an 88 in 308 so guess I'm good that way.
