They'll be clean when they come out the muzzle. I have cleaned some bad ones in media and damaged some of the soft point but still grouped good.

What is our society coming to if a man can't appreciate a pretty bullet lol I've used Birchwood casey cartridge cleaner. Just soak them for a few minutes and rinse in clean water.
