This is a request that I generally avoid! I only have two uncles left, and recently my 91 year old uncle has been hospitalized with Covid/Pneumonia! For his age he’s tough as boot leather, not even running a fever....but has double pneumonia and is on oxygen! While otherwise, he’s very healthy/strong.....the prognosis isn’t very favorable. Please keep him and my family in you prayers! Thanks, memtb

Keep hope alive as long as he is. My wife has seen a couple in their 90's recover. At that age no matter what is going on in the world ,you just have to treat every time with them like the last. All my best to ya'll brother.

91 sounds old, but I know what you mean, they're just "people you love" when you're close to them. Well said. Hoping the best for your Uncle. I just lost my last one at age 96. Non Covid, just wore out.

My mother is 102 and my MIL is 93. Both are reasonably healthy but going downhill, especially my MIL. I think a touch of CV would likely do either of them in. My mother lives with my sister and my MIL with my wife's sister.
I should add that both are born again Christians and both have said they're ready to go...preferably in their sleep.

Similar here, got an uncle in ICU with COVID/double pneumonia who’s been intubated and his kidneys are failing. He’s only 80’ish. He was always the rascal out of all the uncles, served in the marines as a young man.
Prayers for your uncle, sounds like quite a guy.

Yes, prayers up for your uncle. Lost an aunt and her "boyfriend" to COVID/pneumonia two weeks ago. Wasn't pleasant.

We had an active case travel through the local airdrome, I got to go out and sanitise the place and close it off under council direction.
I used ten litres of the stuff and looked like a white jellybean in the chem suit, interesting experience.
Half hour after that I went out and cleaned up the bridge approach and knocked down some overhanging limbs...the second job was more fun.
These are my opinions, feel free to disagree.
