I dont get many visitors from beyond the wire, no mail or meter maids even.


He came bearing gifts

Old shot-out shotgun barrel. Told him I always wanted to mark a survey corner with a driven down shotgun barrel. Adds as nice touch of character.

Brought out Jew-Pew (pew pew pew).

We shot a lynched Humpty-Dumpty stuffed animal. (Oak tree as back stop)

Several mags worth, heavy as hell 9mm.

No hiccups with that. I will let him give full analysis on initial 4 mag dumps


Soon as he popped open the pistol case the dogs evaporated like the thief on the cross. I hate that, the guy is alright, but they dont like his guns.

Renegade helped (or did it all) some really oooey—goooey vet med on my other lab. She is shy’d up from me from doctoring on her. She has a couple abscesses that are stubborn to heal. I fixed him and ear flusher bulb thingie of H2O2 and that bulb sunk in there an inch deep. Peroxide in one hole came out the other abscess like a small geyser. 🤮🤮🤮😐

What meds did he put in after the h2o2?

If its fungal and penetrates to the brain they start acting kind of funny.

If he'll squeeze her anal glands you'll know he's a real friend.

The new florida hicks that moved have a nasty doberman, he came over here pissing on corners and bit her on the neck.

I took her to the vet before they ruptured, vet tells me “oh this dog has tumors, you should let me do a biopsy

Meehhhh, bye

I put her on 500mg of amoxicillan for 10 days, (some meds left over from my other dog)

I’ve washed her chlorhexadine soap and squeezed out several times lots of goo. Been spraying her with Deet to keep gnats away. Been putting Muroprocin perscript only staph cream.

Stubborn wounds. Been doing this for a month+

she still is perky and doesnt seem feel any pain with the doctoring. But she has had enough of seeing me put gloves on and bring out the wound-care happy basket.

Hoping to get on this with some sort of different aproach

Get you a can of Wound Kote to spray on after you drain.

This. Kind of scarey the muro hasnt knocked it. It may be deeper than the ointment gets and resistant to the AB.
May need a culture and appropriate AB injections. Darn the luck.

Be switching vets, if these flushes dont start producing results.

Next nearest vet is a 20 mile ride. Theyre not good riders. I wish they were.

slum, BTDT with the bite wounds. Nasty ass foul mouth bite throughs are a PITA.

Dawg is now waiting for me at Rainbow Bridge, but I still have a stock of this in the hall pantry. Magic stuff on puncture wounds and nicks and scrapes. If you need any, let me know.

This fresh tube I got two days ago, they wanted me to run it inside my nostrils for 5 days prior to knee replacement.

Renegade was headed there and he’s been in silent mode for a while.

It sounds like the dog is in good hands with owners that not only care about their faithful friend but also know what they’re doing.

I recall a thread by Crossfire (May he RIP) where he’d cut the tip of his finger pretty significantly and took a day by day picture and gave a progress report on how fast it was healing. If I recall correctly Greg used OTC Vetricin (spelling?). Greg said the stuff was incredible and really sped up the healing.

You guys know what you’re doing but I figured I’d throw that out there as a “just in case” alternative. Good luck to Cooper. 👍
