Shawama spiced 1/3lb lamb burgers, lettuce & tomato from the garden, a touch of greek yogurt & toasted brioche bun.

Midday, pulled pork, 5 bucks, bottle water a buck. Not much choice at the auction sale today.

Made a Greek pasta salad and grilled some 16 count shrimp and pineapple-cut calamari on the bbq. I really liked the calamari done this way.

Crispy skin specklebelly with a fancy port citrus blackberry pan sauce. Didn't need the sauce, but woulda been criminal to leave that goose fat in the pan.

Pork shoulder on the Kamado, grilled peaches with candied pecans and arugula salad, German-style potato salad.

Fresh crepes made with homemade (Tvorog) cheese and homemade red currant jelly for dessert.

Lamb loin chops and squash with red onion and cream. Why more people don't like lamb, I can't figure. Just as well, it cost enough as it is.

Haute Cuisine I tell you.

Zucchini guts, ground beef, bread crumbs, parsley, basil pesto, garlic, tomato sauce, salt and pepper. I mix up my first attempt and cook a 1" diameter patty and taste then tweak, repeat as necessary just as I do with my meatballs. Just tonight we had friends over and my wife made zucchini pancakes seasoned similarly with flour replacing bread crumbs and egg added. Those fried in grape seed oil and a tomato, bell pepper, red onion and cucumber salad with EVO, red wine vinegar, salt and pepper soaked in the fridge for a couple of hours left a group of happy campers.
