Batesville, Arkansas. Land here is in bad need of lime, but if you rotate rice, and use ground water to irrigate, it will put enough lime in the ground for a couple of years of row crops. miles
Look out for number 1, don't step in number 2.

Quarry about 2 miles from our farm-they might not have it all the time. They crush a batch, stockpile lime & gravel, then move the crusher to other sites.
Always drink upstream from the herd...cowdoc...

Anyone ever drive the Pa turnpike near Bedford and see the big quarry? It's about 2 miles away, and the stone, lime, blacktop, and concrete trucks go past the house all day, and night in the summer.
Parents who say they have good kids..Usually don't!

They say the lime is the skeletons of sea creatures from long ago. If so there must have been a lot of them.

What is this ag lime you speak of? Our spring has 478 ppm CACO3, that works out to several tons a day of calcium. We’re trying to get rid of calcium, not add it...
