Local people are there protecting them.
Funny thing the local town of Schellsburg, it has never had any trouble.
Even unruly drunks.
The folks just never allowed it. (No cops, just the locals)

They also want out courthouse.

I just drove through town.
2-300 people scattered around the streets to the courthouse, cars parked for blocks,
more coming.
Handguns, shothugs, deer rifles, AR/AK's aren't real popular here. But they were seen.
Old to young. I live 3-4 miles away, keeping the phone handy.

Mixed feeling about something happening.
Our town doesn't need this, none does.
But this stuff is going to bust loose somewhere, if they choose here
They ain't in Seattle.

Its all bullsh~t 55 peicefull protesters just walking down the road at mid night, no motels no food . just sh~tting over the guardrails !.
Come on people wake the f~ck up they want to make the news.
Get some good ole boys and treat them right , not news worthey !

I'm sure that burning people's cars, businesses, and homes is really going to reduce racism. The BLM is making racism twice as bad, with good reason.

On facebook Juniata Trade said you have to wear a mask and 25 people in the store limit. Do they actually require this, or is it just in print to cover their a$$?
I don't wear the mask, so I just won't go places that require.
I doubt I'll go this weekend but I really wanted to get some more peaches at the market up the road near Sheetz.

won't be there this weekend dillon but i'd be up for a meetup. my place is 5 min from JTP down along the raystown. i go to the everett legion, vfw and bedford moose occasionally when i am out and about.

and i just saw on the news that the bedford boys got the courthouse covered. i just hope myers place doesn't get hit. its right on the friggen road and would be an easy driveby for these azzholes.

So someone who actually has seen the "activists" spell it out are they white or black or mixed in number? Everything I am reading here is devoid of this detail who exactly are these ass clowns?

no. some people in there do but most don't. just like the IGA in everett that has a sign that says "mask required, if you don't wear one, we will assume you have a health issue" but you'll also see people around there driving around alone in their cars with a mask on.

Those "DemocRATic Leaders" are a big part of the problem....there are a lot of DemocRATic leaders that need to be behind bars for supporting Terrorist Acts in this country....

Thanks. Jean Bonnet pub had the same sign a couple weeks ago when we were there. Hit Fishers for sausage supplies, they also did not require.

Bob,
It's BLM. They have all the mantras painted on the cars.
Found out yesterday they were out on I-99 trying to force cars and
semis to stop. By getting in the way and slowing down. Saw footage with
recognizable landmarks.

As to make up, white, black, men, women.

Was at work, wife called and told me 2 cars went by the house on the state road.
Disconcerting. This isn't a road a person takes to go somewhere.
It is used to get to and from homes. It gets too hilly and twisty to use for traveling.
WTF they doing here? And why aren't they leaving?

This area is not a good place to operate in these conditions.
There are 2 roads that access town. And it sits in a bowl of sorts, with the
river to contend with. Between here and town is a choke point. If blocked, my
trip to town is upped from 4 miles to 20 some. But I'm then on the other of those roads.
Any other option requires driving around mountains, or driving 20 some miles in the wrong
direction to get turnpike access then coming back.

My kids school is on the other Side, as is my daughter's, wife's, and my own job.

141, near Graceville. It's nice back in there.

I don't belong to any of those clubs, but it don't matter.
I'll buy a coffee at Marteens or the Bedford diner.

I saw on Facefugg this morning that there were some civilians hanging around the court house with AR's and other weapons. Haven't seen anything else yet though. I'm back up north today so I won't be around that area for awhile. Keep us posted on what's happening Dillonbuck.

Don't think so. I think people are pissed, probably more dangerous when pissed. They ain't hiding in a hole somewhere.

i watched the johnstown news this evening for the first time in years. I remember now why I don't watch it anymore. They called the thugs protesters. They even interviewed the head thug. Not one word about patriots or anyone trying to defend or protect anybody or anything.

Yep, this has made apparent something I hadn't truly considered.

We assume our small market TV reporters are us, local our values.
In some cases it's true.

Watching Altoona clips yesterday, a young female reporter all masked up, she was
breathlessly talking about peaceful marchers being shot.....

Lightbulb time. Every year journalism schools release a batch of newly minted
liars. The alphabets don't hire unknowns. Big markets are the majors.
They end up in Altoonas and Johnstowns.

I Know. Capt. Obvious.
But I had never really thought about it, and I rarely watch them.
But it explains why in the last 10 or so years, as the old long-term staff
has retired, their is a constant churning of talent in those stations.
