I have trapped and shot and otherwise dealt with a lot of beavers over the years.

I only found two and I was out at night and wee hours of the morning when we had that full moon. It was pretty cool out there! I figured it was a female and a yearling, but the big one, over 50, I guesstimate, was a male.

Cool photo! This one had been working on a huge Poplar by the creek, only taking the bark and cambium layer off, looks like the last couple months. I had two cameras I could have put up and should have!

Any indication that they may have come down from the mountains.

The closet mountain to me is Pilot Rock, and there aren't any beavers there.......lol.
