Another vote for the Leupold Freedom. I have a couple of them that have been used a lot and they have worked just fine, good eye relief, generous eye-box, good glass, and can be found for around $200. I think that there is one for sale in the classifieds now for less than that.

i bought the vx freedom with firedot - awesome scope! the glass outside is awesome





i also bought the vortex crossfire ii with vbrite - its a nice scope and will do the job but i noticed the glass is not as crisp as the leupold and the light up reticle gets lost in the sun.
