Nice buck! I wish i knew how to post pics as I have a few Ky bucks I will be after this Fall (150-160" bucks)....shooters in My book but no giants.....Hb
Boy that’s a hammer!! Hopefully you post some pics holdin him.
Ping pong balls for the win. Once you've wrestled everything else in life is easy. Dan Gable I keep my circle small, I’d rather have 4 quarters than 100 pennies.
jerry, that took a man of great will power not to sling some lead at that boss. thats why i absolutely despise "anterlerless only" seasons. i always fear imma be put in this exact situation...........and i don't know if my will power is a strong as jerrys is. Big Ed

Thanks W A EDIT - I hunted National Forest W of McComb Miss, 1981-1986
Yes, It wasn't easy however IF I'd killed him I could NOT have checked it in and NO bragging rights.
ATST, I'm 70 yo and don't mean to brag; have killed a train load of WT. Some heavier in body than thatun and some GOOD racks PLUS untold antlerless.
I like Antlerless Only Season EARLY for multiple reasons. 1. I'm READY to go now. 2. I see where the deer are eating/traveling. 3. I find out where the Doe s are hanging>>>> 4. The BUCKS will come. FIND the Doe s...... Bucks WILL come.
Here's my heaviest WT buck, 194 # whole. Only 10 pt and smaller rack than he HAD the year before. I and my Son saw him the previous year. The FIRST day I hunted my Win Black Shadow 300 WM. in 2008
Here's another I'm proud to have killed in 2007 (IIRC) 178 # Jumped him while still hunting, he was bedded with a Doe. Shot him on the run, hit the spine, he somersaulted and landed 4 FEET UP in a cutover.
My son has been bowhunting this buck here on the farm. He's a huge bodied deer, with a drop tine, and some other junk. There's a mainframe 10 that is probably better, but he's targeting this one. Pics I have aren't that great, as for some reason or another, I deleted the good ones. Don't pay any attention to the date stamp on the camera, as it's wrong.
