MM, what is that scope in the 1st revision photo? the turrets seem kinda far forward.

It's a Leupold Vari-X III 1.5-5x20. It was a custom build by Premier Reticles. They are long out of business now, I believe. Had it put together with target turrets and a mildot reticle. That was back around 2002, before we had all the LPVO choices we now have.

Same scope aboard a Marlin 1895 GBL,
