Look at the Falken AT3’s. Also, when looking at reviews, take note that they changed the design/construction of the tire a few years back.
I’ve got about 5-7k on a set. Took anout 500 miles for them to “settle in”, but have been good tires so far, and were MUCH cheaper than the Cooper ST Maxx I had (that barely lasted 35k) on my 2015 Ram 3500.

Run Michelin’s on the highway truck and put Kelley AT Edges on the beater f250. Can’t bitch either one.
The Kellys do fine in the dirt and suck in the mud, just like every AT tire. Lol. Don’t get much snow.

Toyo M55 are really tough to beat, but pricey. Ran a lot of the tires mentioned on my Dodge diesel welding trucks (10K lbs +). Highway and gravel. The M55s were the best for me.

Nitto Exo Grapplers on a diesel. Entirely different feel than Terra, Trail, or Ridge Grapplers, I suspect it's the extra sidewall Ply. Excellent non-studded traction on hard-packed snow/ice for an AT. No, they don't grip like studs nor dedicated snows (Blizzak or similar) but they are better on my F250 than were:
BFG KO/KO2, Nitto Trail Grappler, Nitto Terra Grappler, or Goodyear Dura-Trac.
I'll be putting a new set of Exo's on in about a month. I went from the ST Maxx to the Nitto Exo on your recommendation and am happy with them (Ram 2500 deisel). Quieter on the highway and better with a heavy load, and better on compact snow/ice than the Coopers. The Coopers win in deep snow and probably mud, but that's not as big a priority for me. I'll buy them again...

It is a 1971 Massy and it has calcium carbide in the rear tires for ballast.
Calcium carbide? That seems like a good way to burn down or blow up your tractor?

110,000 miles out of my last set of Michelin LTX M/S Load range E tires on my 8000 pound Ford. Rotated 3 times. Replaced with the exact same tire. Bring a winch because traction on anything but pavement sucks, but hey they last forever. I thought it was insane, but I had a guy put 95,000 on a set of the same tires on a Dodge 2500. Not highway miles, oilfield miles. He probably could have driven them another 15,000 but I didn’t want to push it and I was the one that would have to fill out the paperwork. I made him go get another set. They happened to be the same tires and we turned the truck in with them still on it.

I don't want or need a true mud tire, an all-terrain is fine.
Kinda thinking about Toyo R/T's but heard(on youtube....) they are bad on ice. Hard tread compound? Are they harder than the Cooper I use now?
The R/T that I had on my 3/4-ton seemed to be a softer compound than the M-55, if you have any experience with those, but I don't have any experience with the ST Maxx. I like the M-55 a bunch, but it is an old industrial tire design. The R/T is a newer design, and didn't chip or chunk nearly as bad on gravel roads. My M-55 would literally have chunks missing out of the tread, but I also beat the hell out of my tires. I think the softer compound of the R/T helped. I'm on my second set of EXO, and getting close to needing a 3rd, on my 1/2 ton. The R/T and EXO are quieter and have less vibration, than the M-55. However, that isn't surprising as they are newer designs.

I cannot fathom anyone getting anywhere close to 100,000 miles on a single set of tires. I’ve never done even half of that.

Just purchased a Ford F-350 Super Duty and went with AT's on it. I took delivery of it last week and the tires they chose are a Goodyear Adventurer with Kevlar. Tread pattern looks decent, and if the Kevlar helps with punctures.....I'll be happy.
The plan is to use this as my retirement truck and will be towing a toy hauler travel trailer in and around the West. Plan on seeing a fair amount of time off the grid, and we all know how nasty those oil roads can get in the Mountains!
Good luck with your decision Sammo!

I've put this here before for work trucks... https://www.treadwright.com/collections/filter/products/mt-claw-265-70-r17-10plyThey aren't "re-caps"... They are complete remolds. Started using them when I was driving lots of miles on bad dirt/gravel roads, and through thorny, rough terrain. Was getting about 15k miles out a set of 10 ply tires, until I went with Treadwraights. Flats aplenty... Never had a flat after putting on Treadwrights, and usually was the last set of tires I put on a pickup. They take a HD 10 ply tire, and put on a thick tread and sidewall. Only way to go on a ranch truck.

Last two sets of michelins started dry rotting before the tread was wore. Went with toyo open countries last go around and got 55k out of them. Rode just as well as the michelins.

I had a set of Cooper at3 with about 20K. Sidewall blow out about put me and a 14 foot trailer in a dump ditch. Cooper refused to replace it.
Maybe it was a one off. I didn't put another set of cooper's on my truck though. Had nittos, bfg and toyos since. Toyos have been the best.

I'll be putting a set of 285/75-18 Toyo Open Country AT3's on this afternoon. Will keep you posted on tread life and wear.
I considered a set of Duratracs but Goodyear can KMA!!

We have some recap Goodyears, on the old Ford that are doing well after fifteen years. You can tell people what the conditions are, and what those tires will do, but many get can't understand even close what extreme conditions and tire problems really are. Those Treadwrights are much better than the old recap process, and I wouldn't have a ranch truck that didn't have 'em, after seeing for myself.
