Would someone please share the load data on the .358 Winchester 225 Sierras and TAC?

Ping pong balls for the win. Once you've wrestled everything else in life is easy. Dan Gable I keep my circle small, I’d rather have 4 quarters than 100 pennies.

I have a 358, been thinking about a 338 Federal. Hey David I picked up a Savage 99 in 338 Federal and it shoots 160 Brnes ttsx less than 1/2"! That'd be a pig killin machine.

I load the 160 Barnes in a Sako 338 Win mag. They shoot really well in it. Yours should be a fine Bear rifle too. A great all around rifle. I guess someone rebarreled a 308??? Could a 243 be changed to a 338?? I have one that has a nice non factory stock.

It could if there's enough meat on the barrel. I doubt your featherweight could. Mine was rebarreled, not rechambered. so it's a fairly heavy barrel.

I should have put rebarreled, it’s way too thin I rebarreled a 99F 243 like yours to 358 using a Savage factory 358 barrel, and it worked perfectly. I'm sure a 338 Federal would require minimal to no work to get it to run.

I should have put rebarreled, it’s way too thin I rebarreled a 99F 243 like yours to 358 using a Savage factory 358 barrel, and it worked perfectly. I'm sure a 338 Federal would require minimal to no work to get it to run. Pretty much the same for me - I found a NOS factory Savage 99 .358 Win barrel, and had Frank Wells of Tucson swap it onto a 99E in 308. Works really nice now. Hoping to kill a cow elk with it starting a week from tomorrow! A Savage 99 in 338 Fed would be a fantastic rig! Cheers, Rex

I sent a Nearly new Winchester in 308 to Jess and rebored to 338 federal. Put it in black and orange mcswirrly. Nice rifle!
Its not always easy to do the right thing, But it is always the right thing to do.
