Beethoven is ok but I prefer different works. This was composed by a 26 year old American in 1936, Samuel Barber. You may recognize it from the movie Platoon.

On our honeymoon my wife and I listened to a performance of Mozart’s Requiem inside the Stephansdom in Vienna. Pretty delightful experience, and probably the Whitest thing anyone could do on their honeymoon.
When we were leaving we ran across a guy just off the cathedral ground who was handing out flyers claiming Mozart didn’t write Requiem, an Arab did.
Never expected that guy to become mainstream. We live in a truly strange world.
