No dents. No major spots of rust.
Roof is rusty a bit. Surface rust.
Little pits all over the body. Maybe it was a hail storm??
All in all....pretty clean and straight.

All in all....pretty clean and straight. Sounds like you need more brine on the roads out there...I'm jealous, that vintage are pretty much extinct in these parts.

Unless you hooked that 2-horse up to it, good to go.

Westerners are smart and like their vehicles. We use volcanic cinders or crushed rock. And replace our windshields every few years. That, and it's so dry and sunny out here, after the plow goes by the roads are dry in like fifteen minutes or so.

33" would probably rub, so I would look for 32", which are harder to find. I like the TSL 34" but you would have to do some type of lift. Here is the Hankook's I put on my 71, 33x12.5 15 My 69 CJ6 has the TSL 34x10.5 15.

I'd go with a mid-priced 32x11.50R15 mud tire radial. I'd also pull off those old step rails.
Now with even more aplomb

Get some 16's then 235/85 or 255/85 and the 10-ply of your choice.

Jim, if you are looking for a mud tire, I have experience with the Buckshot "P" mudders. I think you can still get them for a 15 inch rim. Google shows them. They are bias ply, but you may be able to get them in radial. The "P" makes them 32" tall.
They are really good mud tires, not the best on the street as you may already know.
We had them on an old '77 Dodge short bed power wagon. It pulled really well.
Clyde
Edited to add that it appears the "P" cannot be had in 15inch. Only in 16 inch. There is an "N" that is 30 inches tall for a 15 inch rim.

33-10.50x33 & 33-12.50x33 BFG MT or AT(pick your tread) available at Discount Tire direct w/free shipping for about the best price I've found.
The running boards will have to go if you plan on 12.50's on the, what looks like 10" or deep dish wheels & no lift. If they re the stock 8" wide, I can't tell, that will help.

That’s what happens when you don’t have the luxury of living in a 10% humidity, 10” annual rainfall environment
Maple trees will grow out of your hood and trunk lid seams in two weeks here.

Well if yer gonna do Jeeps, here's 31-15.50X15 on 10" wheels with a 3" lift; Or 32-12x15 on 10" wheels with a 2" lift. But back to square body Chevy's, here's no lift, 10" wheels, & 32-12x15 with the rear lower of the front wheel well cut away or beat around with a BFH. Same truck, added 1stock spring leaf or ordered snow plow package that includes that, 10" wheels & 12.50-33x15. In the words of Will Sonnet, no brag, just fact. I offer a gratuitous statement that I have a doctorate in square body Chevy's. Boomers know chit that youngins scoff at & might remain ignorant, or learn the hard way.
