The new option on sex was so that it would match what some states have done. If you're not in one of those states, you can't use it.
Having the buyer and gun information on the first page would make it faster to scan in information as they'd only have to do one page instead of 2 (1&3).
Of course, since most large dealers use e-books, I'm sure that after every audit, the auditors walk away with all the info on their laptops.

IIRC, the SN was on the front page of some of the older forms that had fewer questions. Am I mistaken in remembering that the 4473 used to be front/back 1-page, front used to have all the information one would write on a form and the back was all instructions?

Yeah, they dont ask much about the gun, its the gun owner they are interested in...no need to register the gun when they are registering the owners.

And if you believe they destroy the records after 90days...Ive got a screaming deal on a bridge I could sell you....
