It's amazing what some folks will put themselves through when they really need a cock.

Nice work. But damn, you need a dog!

Thanks for all the good comments!

We were busy with family yesterday afternoon so my posting was limited.

Windy and nasty now, off to go doze manure in some feed pens. Won't be as fun as yesterday.

Sammo! You handsome sonhofabitch! Good job limiting out with no dog!

Maybe I missed it but did you ever get tested for the Rona to confirm it? If so, did they shove a q-tip way in to your thinker?

Sam, Nice fencepost pic. Sure glad you're keeping that gun working as it should.

I forgot to comment on the video of the rooster with the "nub" for a spur. I took a turkey once like that, good long spur on the one side, worn off on the other. Nice long 10" or so beard. Heavy, +/- 20 lb. Took him to show some folks that were the chapter Prez of the NWTF and the Secty or some such, as they were the ones that gave me the dope on where to hunt that season. They thought he was quite an old bird looking at him and hearing that he was a loner that came in from behind me as I was working a group of toms that wouldn't come in. Do you think that bird you got with the nub was an oldster?

That shotgun is the only 'nice' gun I've ever bought.

Guess I do have a Kimber Classic Select 257 Roberts but Charlie's 16 gauge will always hold a place in the safe.

All 3 birds with the top barrel, #5 copper plated Fiochi, improved cylinder, maybe modified, hell if I know.

Geno, I think pheasants generally live 2-3 years in the wild before they run out of luck? He was certainly not from this year's hatch, long feathers on that dude.

T, I've mastered the art of sucking in a 20lb beer belly....

Cuzzin, I hope you enjoyed today's holiday!
