Texas, You can hunt Elk cheaper than any where else that I know of, check it out there's some big country in West Texas, I am not sure but Mulie Mike, a member here on the fire, might take Elk hunters or know where to hunt DIY. Rio7

Most all these HF hunting places will have elk available to hunt. Not necessary to go to west Texas. They're spread out all over. All you need is a license and a gun and a wallet full of cash

West Texas is free range Elk, we have Elk here on the ranch but we are high fence, and we don't have many, we do kill a few cows every now and then to keep the # down, They are in high fence pasture 20,000 acres, Rio7

He used to, not sure if he still does. I looked into it and IIRC the cost was ~$6k some years ago.
