Gentlemen: Have a nephew that is wanting to Archery hunt for elk. He is in his 40's, in superb shape (crossfit) and I am 71, in fairly poor shape. (23 surgeries through the years) I can still get most places but it can take me a long time to get there. Also, due to surgeries, I must use a crossbow. He will use a compound. Looking for an outfitter within a couple hours of Cody, who can accomodate us both. Assume I would mostly hunt waterholes, tree stands, blinds, etc.. while he would hump the mountains. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Find it hard to believe no one has any experience in Wyoming?

No personal experience, but I know the folks that run the diamond 7 bar in the black hills NE wyoming. They are great people and have a good elk and whitetail hunt there.

Do you have any WY elk points? I assume this hunt would be 2021?

I do not have points. If required, we could start putting in this year. Only issue is, I am not getting any younger so would have to be in the next few years.

Will look into the diamond 7 bar. Thanks,

Due to point creep probably need at least 3 to 4 points
