I am going to have him investigated for Mail Fraud through the USPO Investigative Services. Being as this is firearm related, I am hoping that the ICC and others will be brought into the mix.

you got scammed. He joined in 2019 then made 150+ post in a total of 6 days to get his post count up. Then posts an item at a steal of a price. Due diligence could have saved you here.

Good luck making headway on this its not impossible but you have a long road ahead of you.

You are correct in all aspects. I am hopeful that being an FFL holder will bear some weight with this. Either way- [bleep] like this needs to be flushed. Thanks to all that PM'd me with their take on this.

Id try local agencies first, if they're small enough, they might actually care. The PO will be of no real help.

Yes, I am the FFL holder. He is also in the process of a sale to another member on this forum, who is having the same issue as myself.

Thanks Warpig for the info. I contacted the local Sheriff's office and they are readily responding to it.

I was very interested in the 66-1 he had for sale but something didn’t pass the smell test. I even mentioned in my response it sounded too good to be true.

Same gun? He prob sold it to everyone who pm’d him.

Update.....He gave me a Stoughton, Wi address. All of his info checks out when you google him.....he's a farmer in WI. As far as the gun goes-I had PM'd him on the model 66 but the gun had evidently already been committed to another. He offered up a second gun that he had planned on selling in the near future-a Smith 19-2 with box....and a pretty nice one. I bought it and here we are. He actually just texted me this afternoon and said that Fedex had returned it to him and wanted me to verify my address. I told him to send me a photo of the complete label and I would do that. I have heard nothing since.

He's trying to sell a 308 CTR on Rokslide. Same town. Goes by the name "Alaska2" there. Didn't get a good feel from the limited communication, backed off.

Now, I will say I just had a rifle I sold on GB returned to me from Fedex (nothing to do with Mr. Ace). They say they attempted to deliver 3 times, and returned the rifle to me., so it does happen. The times Fedex says they attempted to deliver should have caught the shop open at least once. I'm skeptical, and I'm not sure I will use Fedex again--even though they have been good in the past. I refunded the man's money.
