Not looking to make a shiny finish out of my Ruger's stainless, just smooth out some rough buff marks. Sometimes that just happens with age, handling and a little fine polish. Took 32 years.

An update- I read a suggestion of using toothpaste, which contains a very mild abrasive, and a soft toothbrush. I gave it a try, and after 5 or so applications, the buff marks are no longer noticeable. Works like a charm!
I'd rather be a free man in my grave, than living as a puppet or a slave....

An abrasive, is as an abrasive, does.
Mother's Mag Polish or equivalent would be much faster.
Don't ask me about my military service or heroic acts...most of it is untrue.
