At least consider setting up a Politics and Law forum. The 'Fire is being overwhelmed by such stuff.
I know it would mean extra work to monitor and move posts from here to there (as they occur in future, no sense going back in time) but it would return this forum to a much more enjoyable place. Ask him about NASA launch this week sub-forum while he's at it , that stuff is immensely popular to me . . . . SpaceCadetMike Laffin my ass off, funny sheit. 🤣🤣🤣

Leave it where it is. Everything hunting has been politicized since at least the 1960s, same as it is for guns. The Second Amendment forum here gets almost no traffic, but the fact is, even if you're a benevolent Fudd, you still need to know what's going on. Leave the fire, the fire. Yes please, give its own forum.
I am currently at hunting camp. And sitting in a blind waiting for sunrise with my oldest son. There is a wide range of politics among us yet we left politics at home. Why would we ruin something good, and rehash Trump/Hillary BS.
Even my uncle who is a cross between members Bristoe and Real Hawkeye doesn’t talk politics at camp.
Grandpa fought Fascists in WWII, Dad fought Communists in Vietnam. - American is meant for the middle.

You must understand that the amount of traffic this forum receives is due to its being an “all topic” section of the website.
If you make it granular in nature it will have less traffic.
Less traffic = not as fun.
It is for these reasons that I must deny Rocky’s request.

'Flave, there are well over 70 forums on this website. It would be insane to lump all of those forums into one. Instead, they are divided by specific topical interest. Having all of those in no way diminishes the total traffic of the website. Nor would adding one more. Indeed, Rick could market the site as having multiple high-traffic forums instead of one huge one and a bunch of low traffic ones.
Think of the fun you could have impaling your barbs in two places.
