Ping pong balls for the win. Once you've wrestled everything else in life is easy. Dan Gable I keep my circle small, I’d rather have 4 quarters than 100 pennies.

I'm still an ugly bastard even when camo'd, but my rifle is kinda pretty Doesn't impress the critters though. Last day of reg gun season tomorrow. Dunno if I should go or not. Full moon, hunting patchwork woods, aint seen chit last few times out. People around blasted everything. Pretty slim chance of seeing any deer. FWIW my rifle is a '67 in .280 rem. Pre B config, made about 80 of em like that. Vert split rings couldn't get the Vari XII where I needed it, and are a PITA to align anyway. So said screw it and went w newer style w extension at rear. Aint a collector, I just kill stuff. Well, try to anyway LOL

Hell ya, sounds like a dandy. I’ve got # 827 in 22-250, think it was made in 67 as well. I kept the split rings on mine.
Better give er one more shot tomorrow, never know pard. Plus a year is a long way off. 🤣

We have a week long after Xmas antlerless season. I could bowhunt late, or take my Hawken Silver Elite for a buck. Late season cold just kills me. My #1 is a 4 digit, 18XX 3 digit is fancy. Maybe the critters are more impressed with yours

Gun season here in Alabama should be good next week with the cold front.

Yes and No! Yes, I am excited about getting my ATN 4k Pro up and running. This model features an 18 hour battery life (as opposed to 1.5 hr. max on the HD2) and video streaming. I love not having to keep my eye glued to the optic at night. and No! the hoglets did not co-operate this last trip. However, some consolation, I've perforated 10 in the last two weeks and a decent buck. ya! GWB
