It's a 12'X3'X1" sheet of aluminum,....probably made by Alcoa. I've cut many pieces out of such "monoliths" when working in a machine shop.
Somebody hauled it out there with a 4 wheeler and set it up. It's not a single sheet. Thing is shaped in a triangle...

my black cat sheba saw it on the computer screen. she seems to believe it's related to the wolves once they re-inhabit the region. they'll use that post as a territory marker. in other words it'll be a post to pee on and keep up the census count of other wolves, at least the males.

could be very well that's SE Utah..... It appears to be about 50 miles west of LaSal UT. That looks like some rough country but not inaccessible.
