See that the rub.

We are still stuck in the past. We still assume that elections matter, that votes matter, that people decide.

This election has proven without a doubt that none of this is true, none of it.

If they want to remain in office, they play the game, they get on board the deep state train and they get their seat at the table no matter what the people have to say.

So the Republicans could easily turn on Trump and still get elected, still be invited to all the great DC parties, still screw over America without missing a beat.

I trust most Republican politicians to be gutless go-alongs. That means heavy lifting for the few with honor.

The question is no longer whether someone is a republican. It's almost meaningless. The question is now whether they are constitutionalists.

The question is whether they are owned by the deep state or not. The vast majority of them are.

So true. The Republican party is divided between deep state professional politicians and constitutionalists. The Democrat party is pretty much all socialists except for the globalists and communists which are also socialists. So the Democrat party is united by socialism. There does seem to be the potential for Libertarians and Constitutionalists to unite. Maybe form a third party, the Liberationalists.
